Bass Pro Shops Denver

When you take your first step into Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Denver, you’ll be awestruck with the grandeur of the building. Greeted by our warm and inviting nine foot high fireplace, you can sit and warm your toes or just take a relaxing break. Designed to compliment the outdoors, this 180,000-square foot building is part museum, part art gallery, and part education center. As a destination location, the store offers visitors a glimpse at Colorado’s majestic past and present.

History
If you enjoy a look back, it’s hard to beat some of the additions to our storewide historic photo gallery. Whether looking into the eyes of Sitting Bull or admiring our Presidents who were outdoor enthusiasts such as Herbert Hoover, Dwight D. Eisenhower, or Teddy Roosevelt, these photos are iconic. There are also over 200 mounted animals around the store which are native to the plains and mountains of Colorado.

Museum-Quality Exhibits
With three aquatic exhibits, you’ll want to take a seat and spend some time enjoying the view. Our big aquarium holds 22,000 gallons of fresh water and is full of fish native and new to Colorado waters. Some of these include: rainbow trout, large and small mouth bass, sturgeon, crappie, blue gill, fresh water drum, and walleye. Across from the large fish tank is a stream exhibit, and chances are when you walk over the bridge, you’ll also spot a few fish such as muskee and rainbow trout. Our second largest aquarium is a salt water tank located in Islamorada Fish Company, our restaurant adjacent to the store. This tank holds 13,000 gallons and has salt water fish like cat sharks, Napoleon wrasse, French angel, harlequin tusk, and blue hippo tang (the ‘Dori’ fish from the movie Finding Nemo).

Tracker Marine Center
If you’re a boat enthusiast, you’re in luck. Our Tracker Marine Boat Center, the largest manufacturer of fishing boats, ATVs, and UTVs in the world, has a wide variety of boats for any water sport you can imagine. Whether you’re searching for the best fishing hole or waxing up those water skis, we’ve got what you need. Step up into a boat and sit behind the wheel to get a feel for being on the water. Should your current boat need servicing, our mechanics are ready to get you back into the water in one of our three service bays.

Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant
Colorado may be landlocked, but Islamorada Fish Company will make you feel like you’re eating fish caught fresh, right off the dock. Whether you try the tender, hand-breaded alligator appetizer or dine on our signature fish & chips, your taste buds won’t be disappointed. Waiting for your party to arrive? No problem. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar while gazing into the salt water tank and watch an array of fish swim by.

Coffee & Fudge
If it’s coffee you’re craving, don’t forget to stop by Uncle Buck’s Coffee Shop. Our baristas will brew up your favorite drink, hot or cold. And if your sweet tooth is kicking in, don’t forget to pick up a piece of the best fudge this side of the North Pole.

Store Events
At Bass Pro Shops in Denver, we love kids and getting them outdoors. We have events geared just for them, year round. One of our most popular events is our Family Summer Camp where the kids can learn to cast for fish, shoot a BB gun, and explore the store learning about animals native to Colorado.
