We will meet in our Fly fishing Shop in the back of the store at 5:00 p.m. Bring a jacket because we will be moving outside in front of our store.
If you can please bring your own fly fishing rod, we’ll have a limited supply to use (while supplies last).
Safety glasses or sunglasses are required for eye protection.
In order to participate, flies need to be yarn or have no hook.

Here your children will have the opportunity to try and catch a real LIVE fish. There will also be FREE crafts, a FREE photo download (no in-store print available)., a FREE kids workshop (@2:30 on Saturday only), and a FREE Kids Fish zipper pouch to the first 100 kids to complete ALL of the activities. Bass Pro Shops is hosting California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s follow up Hunters Ed Course. (This is a 2 component course. Students must complete an Online Course prior to attending a Follow-Up Class. The Follow-Up is a review only of what the student has learned online.)
About the Event
This is a 4 hour course. There is test given at the end of the class, you must pass to receive your Hunter Ed Certificate.

Instructor: Dawan Lee

Students must bring:
1) Printed copy of online course completion voucher
2) Signed Liability Release
3) $20 class fee

Everyone that takes this class will be required to show that they can handle a firearm safely.

Students 17 years of age and younger must have a parent or guardian accompany them during the class.

Everyone who passes the class will receive a gift card from Bass Pro.

Requirements:
• Important All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses. If you have previously held a CDFW license (i.e. Fishing), your GO ID is printed on the license above your name. Click here to get a GO ID. Click here for instructions.
• All students must download, print, and sign a Student Consent Form. Students 17 years of age and younger must have the form signed by a parent or guardian. The signed form must be brought to class.
• Access is permitted to the 4 hour follow-up class only after a student has completed the written Home Study or On-line component of the class.
• In order to be certified the student must attend the entire review class.
• Students will need to show safe handling of firearms and pass the Hunter Education test with a score of 80% or better.
• There is no minimum age to attend California Hunter Education.
• Special Accommodations If you require special assistance or accommodations, please see the form, Reasonable Accommodation: Request for Services. If you have any questions, please contact the instructor or regional director directly.

Aquarium and Fish Feeding
Our 14,000 gallon aquarium with multiple waterfalls is always a must see at our store! Our aquarium is home to Sturgeon, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Bass, Catfish, Carp and Small Mouth Bass. Can you tell them apart? Come join us for our Fish Feedings every Saturday at noon! This is a great way to learn more about our fish and some of their favorite food!

Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill
Are you looking for a place to hold a birthday party/corporate event or for a fun and casual dining experience? Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill it is!
