INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY - OUTLINE Ages, 7-adult The Archery class will include the following: Eye Dominance determined...Archery safety rules Archery tackle sized to each Archer Basic shooting techniques Grouping & consistency Range... courtesy Introduction to Archery is an Orientation session and includes correctly sizing equipment to the archer (bow, arrows, safety gear etc.) and determining eye dominance (eye dominance controls aiming). We recommend that you do not purchase equipment until the student has been assessed for eye dominance, and has been shooting for a while. Students will be able to gain strength, and will need longer arrows as they practice and stretch out. We can advise on equipment at that time. Once the fundamentals have been learned, the student may also participate in open practice sessions (space permitting) and further training programs.

How should I dress when I come to the Archery Class? You will want to wear casual, comfortable clothing. Please refrain from wearing baggy clothing, such as baggy or long-sleeved shirts, as it will hinder shooting by creating drag on the string. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie to keep your hair back. Long and dangling earrings may also pose a risk.

Aquarium
Enjoy viewing our 12,000 gallon freshwater aquarium that is stocked with fish native to our Northern California area including largemouth bass, striped bass, catfish, smallmouth bass, and sturgeon. We have weekly fish feedings on Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM.

Northern California offers myriad outdoor lifestyle opportunities and Bass Pro stocks products to enhance them. Archery Range
Come get your bow sighted and ready for the hunt in our archery department. You can practice your shot in our 20 yard long archery range. No crossbows please and only field tip arrows in the range. If you are interested in trying one of our bows before purchase, you may do so! The range is open from 9AM – 10PM Monday – Saturday, and 10AM – 7PM on Sunday. $8 for a half hour. Need your bow worked on? Our associates will be happy to assist you.

Tracker Marine is the world’s largest manufacturer of fishing boats. Our store features a complete selection of boats and motors, and a staff of experts to make sure you get the right combination. Bass Pro Shops features numerous events throughout the year such as the Spring Fishing Classic, Fall Hunting Classic, Go Outdoors, Photos with the Easter Bunny, and Family Summer Camp. The highlight of the year is Santa’s Wonderland that is truly a sight to behold! During the holiday season, beginning in mid-November, the Tracker Boats area of our store is magically transformed into a breathtaking Christmas Wonderland. With a display of lights, Christmas trees and the real Santa and his Elves this is a must see event! Stop in and get your child’s photograph with Santa. Various arts and crafts projects are also featured.
